_ [OpenSource] オープンソースソフトウェア教会?
最近忙しかったので反応が遅れたが、Matzにっき経由でオープンソースソフトウェア協会(OSSAJ),とかいうものの存在を知る。
まつもとさんも指摘する通り、私も以下の三点が腑に落ちない。
- 関係者に知っている人、団体がいない
- 設立趣意の意味が不明瞭
- OSSAJ をもっとよく知っていただくためにというページを見てもますますわからない
知り合いがいないというのは単に私が不安だというだけで、特に問題ではない。しかし、なんべん設立の趣意というのを読みかえしても、具体的に何をやるつもりなのかさっぱり分からないというのはまずいのではないか。ようするに、「オープンソースの利用者」の団体?
どうやらソリューションパッケージのノウハウを蓄積したいということのようだが、それこそが企業がオープンソースで商売するときの「売り物」なんではなかろうか。情報は全て公開されていて自由に利用できる、ただしその利用法次第で差がつきますよ、というのがオープンソースのキモだと私は勝手に考えているのだが
あと、入会のお誘いというのを読むといきなり「卑近な例で恐縮ですが、当社（（株）オープンテクノロジーズ）においても、」などという表現が出てくる。OSSAJ==オープンテクノロジーズ(という一企業)なんでしょうか。
うーむ。
