夜ひとしきり自転車で珍走した後は、近所のブックオフに寄って本を買うことにしている。ブックオフの何がいいって100円均一のコーナーがあることなのだが、古典を除き定価では死んでも買わなそうな本ばかりでそれはそれは得がたい漁場である。
かつての爆笑問題って冴えてたんだなあ(「爆笑問題の日本原論」はかなり面白い)とか、今ごろになって故ナンシー関の偉大さがわかったりと新発見多数。

昼たまたま家にいたので、最近近所で評判のラーメン屋に行ってみた。石神井の団地の真ん中という奇妙な立地。着いたのが14:20くらい(15:00閉店)だったのでガラガラかと思いきや、満席で一人寒空の下待つはめに。
店内に入ると、店が載った雑誌記事の切抜きが多数。あと、店主(?)のみつをライクな詩(のようなもの)が掲げてあって精神的に追い詰められる。
それでもめげずに特製ラーメンというのを頼んで見たのだが、うーん、スープがえらい薄いような気が...私の舌がイカレているだけかもしれないが。麺(太さを選べる、今回頼んだのは中太)のゆで加減はなかなかよろしい。ただ、他の人は見たところ皆つけ麺を頼んでいて(中にはラーメンとつけ麺を両方頼んでる奴までいた)、どう見てもメインはそっちなので、素直につけ麺を注文すべきだったのかもしれない。
帰るころ(14:45くらい)にはさらに行列ができていて呆れる。平日の昼間、しかも閉店前でっせ。

やはりそうだったか...無念。またそのうち。
私も先日、東長崎のオリオン食堂というつけ面を売りにしたラーメン屋に行ってきました。辛味噌特性ラーメンなるものを頼みましたが、なかなか美味しかったです。ただし、どうも煮干しベースのスープがポイントのようなので、醤油や塩のような薄口のスープを選んだ方がよかったかと反省しております。
オリオン食堂は悪くないですね。また近々行ってみるかな。
